The Tyrš Orchards are an extremely pleasant place offering a charming setting for the city, helped to a large extent by the combination of the chateau and its surroundings. The construction is not only made of concrete, wood and steel, but mainly of trees, bushes, flowers and grass. The revitalization project for the Tyrš Orchards was awarded the 3017 Construction of the Year Award, the Public Space Award from the Czech Ministry of Regional Development and the Association for Urban and Regional Planning, as well as the Award of the President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament.
