Construction of a Broiler Hatchery, Chropyně

This facility, one of the most modern hatcheries in Europe, was constructed in just under ten months. All work processes, such as setting, transferring eggs to the hatcheries, picking and counting chickens, are largely automated by technologies from Viscon and Prinzen. The design capacity is 40 million chickens per year. The hatcheries themselves are from Petersime, which covers almost 50% of the global market. Since 2004, their hatcheries have managed incubation based on the actual temperature of the eggs. It is the closest thing to a natural hatching system and is the best that currently exists.
