The new building of the retirement home in Tmavý Důl near Rtyně v Podkrkonoší is a detached building within the retirement community complex. The building itself is based on a structurally atypical double foundation slab reinforced with transverse and longitudinal ribs due to the impact (?) of the mining activity that was terminated in Tmavý Důl in 1972. The load-bearing walls are brick, the ceilings are a combination of monolithic construction and brick blocks. The capacity of the new facility is 83 beds.
